About

H&B Services is a small company that is comprised of mostly family personnel. We try to keep our service within these perimeters. We have been in business in the local area since 2002 now and hope to continue. Our prime objective is to offer a more personal, honest, and quality service. We specialize in painting, drywall, drywall repairs, power washing, fencing, decks, staining, and small repairs.

Our Lead Painter and Owner is Mr. Bruce Hall. Mr. Hall has a background with Construction. He served as a Supervisor with a company contracted with the Norfolk based, Ford Plant and a member of both the Local General Contractors and Labor Union. Among overseeing and contracting laborers of various areas of construction, Mr. Hall also specializes in concrete, operating heavy machinery, and carries a CDL license.

Office personnel, laborer, co-owner, and wife to Mr. Hall is Crystal Buchanan-Hall. She specializes in painting, masking, and is our color coordinator. Crystal is a 25 year veteran of Restaurant, Deli, and Bakery Management with a specialized talent for cake decorating. On the other extreme, Crystal has served a 3 year term as an office personnel, laborer and jockey for a tractor trailer company that was based in Portsmouth, VA. Among other things, Crystal has also cleaned homes for private home owners.

Additional, we have two sons with the remarkable talent in the specialized area of Drywall installation and repairs. One son is involved in the areas of construction and concrete and specializes in all wall textures such as, plaster swirls, slick, and today’s popular knock down. Their services are sub-contracted by us from time to time. Our other son, along with our daughter and uncle, have abilities to help with the multiple tasks from masking to painting and from spraying to cleaning.
